July 9, 2017 - Redeemed - for Life

Psalm 51: 1-17 and Romans 6: 3-11

preached Pastor Kathy Tulman

We believe God sent Jesus to earth to free us from sin, death and the power of the devil. Salvation is more than something that happens when we die. When we believe that Jesus died for us, God's Spirit -- the breath and power of God -- works in us to transform us from a life of self-loathing and spiritual deadness into a life of love, service and light. Redeemed for life, means choosing daily to die to our sins and live freed for a purpose.

July 2 - Created - for Life

Psalm 24 and Ezekiel 36: 22-32

preached by Pastor Kathy Tulman

God created us and all creation and gives us all we need. Our response and purpose in life is simple: to thank, praise, serve and obey God alone.

June 25, 2017 - Convicted - For Life

Exodus 34: 1-9, 27-28 and Luke 10: 25-28

preached by Vicar Michael Wright

This week we begin a series on Luther's Small Catechism with an introduction to the catechism and why it remains relevant to us today and the importance of seeing the 10 Commandments as a gift rather than a burden.
